$ 2.1 billion worth of goods transit through Iran-Iraq port

Shafaq News/ The Director General of the Customs Department in Kurdistan province in western Iran, announced the implementation of transit of goods volume of 567 thousand tons through "Pashmak" port border with Iraq, since March 21, 2019.
Bakhtiar Rahmani Bour told Fars News Agency that the value of the transit of goods reached 2.112 billion dollars.
On the other hand, he stressed that the volume of foreign trade of Kurdistan region adjacent to Iraq recorded 3.184 billion dollars in 7 months during the period 21 March to 22 October 2019.
