Shafaq News / Graduates of the government colleges staged a demonstration in front of the Green Zone in the center of the capital, Baghdad, to demand their appointment.

Shafaq News reporter said that dozens of young graduates demonstrated in front of the green zone calling the government and parliament to appoint them according to the government program of Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi.

The government has reduced assignments on public sectors significantly over the past years due to the lack of necessary financial allocations.

For his part, a local source in Al-Diwaniyah Governorate informed Shafaq News Agency that the "Afak" Electricity Department was closed by employees demanding to release their wages and converting contracts to ministerial contracts."
