The spokesman of the Ministry of Oil, Assem Jihad said in an interview received by Shafaq News, that oil exports for July rose to stop the decline of oil exports through the Turkish port of Ceyhan to record levels.
He explained that the total quantities exported for July amounted to approximately 96.245 million barrels with generated revenue amounted to nearly four billion and 908 million dollars.
Jihad said that the total exports from the southern ports were 94.982 million barrels and that the total oil exports from the Turkish port of Ceyhan did not exceed one million and 263 thousand barrels.
He added the South daily export rates recorded a rise, reaching 3.064 million barrels, the ministry hopes to reach unprecedented levels in oil exports for July if the region was committed to export quantities that were agreed upon in the 2015 budget, amounting to 550 000 barrels.
Jihad said that the average selling price was $ 996 and 50 cents.
He said the above quantities have been downloaded by the international oil companies that carry different nationalities from the ports of Basra , Khor al-Amaya and buoys on the Arabian Gulf and the Turkish port of Ceyhan.
He pointed out that the ministry has made a special effort to increase its exports of crude oil as compensation for delayed tanker loading days due to bad weather from the southern ports.
