The spokesman of the Ministry of Oil, Assem Jihad said in a statement received by Shafaq News, that the total exported quantities and the revenues generated for May recorded a remarkable increase as total exports was (5.97) Ninety-seven million five hundred thousand barrels, and total revenues amounted to (5447) five billion, four hundred and seven and forty million dollars.
Jihad said that the exports amount from southern ports in Basra was (83.5) eighty-three million five hundred thousand barrels and revenues amounted to (4,629) four billion, six hundred and twenty-nine million dollars, while the total volume of exported oil from Kirkuk oil fields was (14) Million barrel by revenues reached (818) eight hundred and eighteen million dollars.
He noted that the average selling price was (55.867) dollars per barrel, indicating that the above quantities have been loaded by 32 international oil company carrying different nationalities from the ports of Basra and Khor al-Amaya and buoys on the Arabian Gulf and the Turkish port of Ceyhan.
Jihad pointed out that the ministry has made a special effort to increase its exports of crude oil as compensation for delayed tanker loading for days due to bad weather from the southern ports.
