Shafaq New/ The Iraqi Ministry of Oil said that it is still in talks with the US giant ExxonMobil on a huge agreement to improve the oil infrastructure south of the country.
The ministry explained that its agreement with the British BP and Italian ENI regarding the supply materials for two offshore oil pipelines for the purpose of qualifying to ensure the transfer of crude oil and export it through the southern export system is not part of south of Iraq project, which cost $ 53 billion for 30 years.
The ministry said that the failure to reach an agreement so far with Exxon does not mean the completion of negotiations or the exclusion of the company from the project.
