The Director General of Baghdad Health Department, Rusafa , Abdul-Ghani Al-Saadi said in a statement reported to Shafaq News, that "Rusafa Health department recorded 6 new cases of recovery from Corona virus after treatment that lasted for several days, great efforts were made, periodic follow-up, and special care for some cases that suffer from other diseases."
He added that "the cases showed signs of recovery, and they were given laboratory tests again and the results were negative, confirming that they have recovered and were discharged from the hospital."
Al-Saadi explained that "the recovery of the cases came after special care and a treatment protocol that lasted for several days, as well as periodic follow-up by health staff and treatment services around the clock."
The Director General of Al-Rusafa Health Department stated that “the total number of cases that have recovered has risen to 97 cases, while the remaining 74 cases receive treatment at Ibn Al-Khatib Hospital,” noting that the recovery of cases is due to the great efforts being made by health staff in the first line and other supportive personnel. .
In turn, Najaf Health Department announced in a statement today, that "six corona patients who are in their hospitals have recovered, have recovered completely, and have left the hospital."
The Department explained, "With this, the cumulative position of our department will be as follows: - 261 infections, 172 recoveries, and 5 deaths."
For its part, the Dhi Qar Health Department indicated that "the results of the tests of the Public Health Laboratory in Baghdad on Tuesday, confirmed the recovery of two new cases that were infected with Corona virus."
The department said in a statement, "The first case of recovery is for an infected resident of Al-Thawra region in Nasiriyah who is 49 years old, and the second case is for a citizen from Nasiriyah, who is 50 years old."
As the department pointed out that "the governorate recorded a new death case for a 41-year-old infected person living in Al-Sayeh area in Nasiriyah," noting that "the epidemiological situation for the governorate of Dhi Qar will be from the beginning of the crisis until today, 49 cases spread over 15 recovered cases, 3 deaths, and 31 cases in isolation, provided with primary health care services. "
