Shafaq News/ Three demonstrators were killed during protests in central Baghdad, sources said on Thursday.
Three demonstrators were killed by tear gas used by security forces in central Baghdad, AFP quoted medical sources.
It is noteworthy that an Iraqi police source said on Thursday that a protester was killed by a tear gas grenade penetrated his head, specifically the face area in al-Khalani Square in central Baghdad.
In the early hours of the morning, riot police fired teargas at demonstrators holed up in buildings in AL-Khalani area, one of them was hit in the face to die immediately ,the source told Shafaq News.
Another security source said a young man riding a motorcycle carrying a pistol and ID cards was arrested who tried to enter al- Tahrir Square in central Baghdad.
The source pointed out that during the preliminary investigation with the young man , he admitted that he wanted to fire shots in different directions at the protesters and security at the same time.
