Shafaq News / The Iraqi Ministry of Interior decided to transfer the Director of Installations Protection in Dhi Qar governorate, which is experiencing tension due to the bloody protests, to the border police.

A security official told Shafaq News that the director of installations protection in Dhi Qar, Colonel Ali Mohsen Al-Shmeisawi, had been transferred to the border police, without knowing the reasons yet.

The decision comes a day after protesters burned down the building of the Directorate of Facilities Protection.
