Shafaq News / An official medical source said on Tuesday that a fellow cleric of the Iranian religious sciences student Suhail Amiri, who was infected with the Corona virus, had surrendered to health authorities in Al-Muthanna Province.

The source told Shafaq News that a cleric and a colleague in the study of the infected student with Corona virus in Najaf governorate had surrendered to health authorities in Al-Muthanna governorate.

The source added that the cleric is currently being held at Al-Hussein Hospital and underwent an examination and a sample was sent to the Central Health Laboratory in Baghdad to confirm his infection or safety.

On Monday, the Iraqi Ministry of Health and Environment confirmed that the first case of Voronavirus was recorded in an Iranian religious science student in Najaf.
