Shafaq News / An official security source said on Thursday that a government employee was assassinated in Basra, the southernmost province of Iraq.

The source told Shafaq News, that unknown gunmen assassinated an employee in a pickup vehicle with a government registration plate of the Irrigation Department near Muhammed Al Qasim Bridge, western Basra.
