Shafaq news/ According to News,  the advisor to the Prime Minister of the Iraqi government for sports affairs, Iyad Bunyan, announced on Friday that he is recovering from Covid-19.

Bunyan said in a statement received by Shafaq News agency, that medical tests have proven his full recovery from the virus.

Bunyan extended his thanks to all those who asked about him during the quarantine period, including officials, journalists and others.

Earlier, On June 29, medical tests confirmed Bunyan's infection with the virus.

In early March, the former Iraqi international, appointed Iyad Bunyan as the head of the Interim Authority for the Management of the Iraqi Football that will last for six months before holding new elections.
