Shafaq News/ Diwaniya province announced on Saturday the suspension of working hours for Sunday.

The official media office of the province said in a statement received by Shafaq News that it was decided to suspend the official working hours on Sunday, 27^th of current month.

"It has also been decided a curfew on people and vehicles will continue to be completely maintained in order to preserve the lives of citizens and public and private property," the statement said.

On Friday, plumes of smoke rose from the yard of Diwaniya's provincial council building after demonstrators threw Molotov cocktails on it.
