Shafaq News / A security source said on Sunday that an agreement has been concluded between the protesters in Tahrir Square in the center of the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, and Baghdad Operations Command to stop the "bloodshed".
The source told "Shafaq News", that "The demonstrators agreed with the commander of Baghdad operations to withdraw riot police from al-Khilani Square in the center of the capital, Baghdad, and bring protection of installations forces instead of them, in order to stop the bloodshed of peaceful youth."
The Iraqi Human Rights Commission announced on Monday, that about 50 protesters were casualties in the outcome of the clashes that erupted yesterday in Al-Khilani Square in the center of the capital, Baghdad.
As the member of the High Commission for Human Rights, Fadhel al-Gharawi said, "3 protesters were killed and 44 other demonstrators were wounded in the clashes that took place in al-Khilani Square on Sunday”.
