Shafaq News / The Iraqi media network decided not to grant the frequencies of direct broadcasting to other TV channels, after a video clip of the crisis cell preparations for Corona virus was leaked.

In a statement received by Shafaq News, the head of the Iraqi Information Network, Fadl Faraj Allah said that "after the end of our investigation process, we confirm that the Iraqi Media Network is not responsible for publishing the leaked video circulating on social media before the announcement of the decisions of the crisis cell on the Coruna virus. "

He added, "We make it clear here that the network always distributes and broadcasts press releases related to any national or government activity free of charge to all local and Arab satellite channels in order to ensure a large area of ​​broadcasting for these channels and not monopolize these activities."

The head of the Iraqi media network added, "After the unprofessional exploitation of this service we provide, we have decided not to grant frequencies for direct broadcasting to other satellite channels, and the transfer of direct activities will be exclusive to the Iraqi media network, its institutions and media platforms."
