Shafaq News / Al-Nasr coalition denied that its head, Haider al-Abadi, was aware of the news that a national rescue government would be formed.

The coalition’s statement said he saw these leaks as an attempt to shuffle the cards and pass agendas in the ongoing struggle to form the government.

The statement confirmed on, "The necessity of choosing an independent figure to head the government and the emergence of the interim phase based on the constitutional and popular legitimacy in a manner that guarantees the reform of the political system and the fulfillment of the aspirations of the people."
