Shafaq News / The brother of the security expert Hisham al-Hashimi said, on Tuesday that the latter, received death threats from ISIS just few days before his assassination.

This came in a talk to the media, among a group of mourners, where he accused the terrorist organization of masterminding the killing.

A funeral ceremony is now taking place for Al-Hashemi, after he was assassinated yesterday, Monday in front of his house in the Zayouna district, Baghdad.

Yet, No party has claimed responsibility for the incident

Hisham al-Hashimi is an expert on armed groups, and a writer with numerous political studies.
