“The news about the Prime Minister-designate Mustafa al-Kadhimi threatening the political forces to apologize for the task of forming the new government is incorrect, but he is determined to complete his mission before the constitutional deadline expires,” Al-Saadi told Shafaq News.
“All political forces seek to succeed Al-Kadhimi’s mission in forming his government, as the voting session for the new government will be at the mid or end of next week according to the latest data , dialogues and negotiations,” Al-Saadi explained.
The deputy of the State of Law bloc, Kati al-Rikabi had believed on Saturday, that the Prime Minister-designate Mustafa al-Kadhimi was facing obstacles to completing his government formation and presenting it to parliament, expected to step down from the task of forming the government in the coming days as a result.
For its part, "Sadiqun" bloc led by the Secretary General of "Asaib Ahl al-Haq" group said that Prime Minister-designate Mustafa Al-Kadhimi will present the ministerial cabinet to the parliament within the next 24 hours.
"The prime minister-designate made some amendments to the names of the candidates in the cabinet, in line with the vision of the Shiite forces to choose the most appropriate figure for the ministerial post," said the bloc's deputy, Fadel Al-Fatlawi to Shafaq News.
He added that "Al-Kadhimi will submit a request to the parliament within the next 24 hours in order to give confidence to his government," noting that "the session of giving confidence to Al-Kadhimi's government will be held next Thursday."
