Minister-designate Mustafa Al-Kadhimi will present the amended cabinet to political forces before they are presented to the Parliament.
“ Prime Minister-designate Mustafa Al-Kadhimi will present this evening the revised ministerial cabinet during his meeting with the political forces,” Deputy of Al-Fateh ,Fadel Al-Fatlawi told Shafaq News.
"Based on the desire of the political forces to complete the ministerial cabinet, Al-Kadhimi will try during the meeting to present new candidates for the ministries of Finance, Interior and Defense."
"Al-Kadhimi will present the ministerial cabinet to the parliament within the next 24 hours," stressing that "Parliament will hold a session of granting confidence to the government on Tuesday or Wednesday of this week,” Al-Fatlawi added.
Prime Minister-designate Mustafa Al-Kadhimi presented a list of the names of the candidates for the cabinet to the political forces during a meeting held on Thursday.
According to an informed source, some of the names did not win the acceptance of the political forces, while Al-Kadhimi has not yet chosen any candidates for the ministries of Interior, Defense and Finance.
