Shafaq News / The Iraqi Prime Minister, Mustafa al-Kadhimi vowed on Tuesday not to tolerate any "aggression" against demonstrators opposed to the ruling political class.
This came during the second session of Al-Kadhimi’s government, according to a statement issued by his office.
The statement quoted Al-Kadhimi as stressing on "protecting the demonstrating right and not tolerating any aggression against them, and that the government aims to achieve their legitimate aspirations."
"We will not compliment at the expense of the dignity of the citizen and the interests of the country, and we work to save what can be saved, face crises and diversify state resources,” he added.
