Shafaq News / Close sources to the Prime Minister-designate Mustafa Al-Kathimi said on Tuesday that the latter is carefully considering the announcement of his cabinet and does not want to rush to submit it to avoid any weakness in his government team.

The sources said in a statement today that "the atmosphere is positive and most of the blocs are intent on passing Al-Kathemi’s cabinet," adding that the Iraqi situation is very dangerous and that the task of working to correct the situation in preparation for the elections has the will to do so.

The sources pointed out that "the lists issued on the names of the ministers are all fake," noting that "Al-Kathemi is determined to provide a strong and efficient government capable of tackling the decline and crossing the financial and security challenges."

The sources added that "Al-Kathemi does not prefer to provide the cabinet quickly at the expense of the weakness of its figures," adding that "the government program has been completed and is shortened and will be presented with the ministerial cabinet."

Al-Kathemi has the support of most of the major political forces in the three Shiaa, Kurdish, and Sunni components, and has promised to give confidence to his government formation through its parliamentary blocs in the parliament.
