Shafaq News / Iyad Allawi, president of the National Coalition, considered on Sunday what is being raised about the "positions bazaar" in the next government, noting that its interest is supposed to be limited to holding the demonstrators' killers accountable and preparing for early elections.

Allawi tweeted in a Tweet seen by Shafaq News, "It is supposed that the task of the next government would be temporary, limited to holding accountable the killers of the demonstrators and preparing for early elections - not participating in it - and setting a date for it."

He added by saying, "It is surprising what is being said about the bazaar of positions along with ignoring the talk about the demands of the protesters and the repression that has affected them for five months."

There is a wide talk among Iraqi political circles about the buying and selling of positions in the government of Prime Minister-designate Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi.

This prevailing argument prompted the Iraqi Judicial Council to issue a statement on Saturday, in which it vowed to prosecute all those who talk about bargaining in the formation of the government if it does not provide evidence to substantiate its allegations.
