Shafaq News / Al-Fateh Alliance led by Secretary General of Badr Organization, Hadi al-Amiri gave on Wednesday the Prime Minister-designate Mustafa Al-Kathemi , one week to make adjustments to the cabinet.
A source in Al-Fateh, who requested anonymity, told Shafaq News that “Al-Fateh Alliance is disturbed by the Prime Minister-designate because of the wrong policy he took in forming the cabinet and making concessions to some parties in exchange for giving him confidence in the parliament.”
He added, " Hezbollah Brigades informed Fateh leadership of its refusal for Al-Kathemi assuming the prime minister position, and also confirmed that it will take other measures if Al-Kathemi gets the confidence of Parliament and is able to form his government."
The source pointed out, " Al-Fateh Alliance gave the Prime Minister-designate , one week to correct his course and make adjustments to the cabinet in his government before it is sent to the Parliament."
Al-Kathemi has the support of most of the major political forces in the three Shiite, Kurdish, and Sunni components that have promised to give confidence to his government formation through its parliamentary blocs in the parliament.
On 9th of current April, the Iraqi President of the Republic , Barham Salih authorized Al-Kathimi to form the government within 30 days, less than an hour after the former Prime Minister-designate, Adnan al-Zorfi announced his apology from this task.
