Shafaq News/ The inquiry court has issued an arrest warrant against a member of Diwaniya provincial council , Hussein Jahit al-Badiri for assaulting demonstrators.

The Supreme Judicial Council said in a statement, "The court issued a warrant to arrest the member of the provincial council , Hussein Jahit al-Badiri after he and his protection personnel attacked the demonstrators in the province."

The statement added that "the arrest warrant was issued in accordance with the provisions of Article 332 / of the Iraqi Penal Code”.
