Shafaq News / Iraqi sources in Britain reported on Wednesday the death of the first Iraqi infected with Corona virus in Manchester, north of London.

The sources informed Shafaq News that the dead man was 57 years old and had returned from Iran to Manchester 3 weeks ago, noting that the symptoms of the infection appeared on him 10 days ago.

The sources indicated that the patient was lying in the Royal Manchester Hospital for the duration of his treatment, and that he was suffering from pulmonary damage due to smoking.

The sources added that the infected man passed away, and his family was quarantined.
