Shafaq News / The authorities in Anbar province imposed on Saturday a complete curfew, while the District Council of Fallujah decided to close the markets and outlets of the city.

The crisis cell in Anbar Province decided to "impose a complete curfew in the province, with the exception of the Health Department staff."

For his part, Mayor of Fallujah in Anbar Province, Muayad Farhan said, "The crisis cell took several decisions after one of the medical personnel coming from Baghdad was infected with Corona virus, where the doctor was quarantined as well as everyone who was with him while he was in the hospital."

Farhan added in a statement that "the cell has taken several decisions, including imposing a curfew throughout the city, closing shops and markets, giving an official holiday to state departments, and closing all of the city's outlets, especially al-Soukour checkpoint towards the capital, Baghdad."

Farhan pointed out that "the cell allowed the opening of a square for commercial exchange outside the city to exchange food and medical  substances in addition to vegetables and other items “.

Farhan added, "The city will witness a major sterilizing process ,which will include residential neighborhoods and public roads, with the participation of all service departments in the city."
