Shafaq News/ Iraqi Army Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Othman Al-Ghanmi and Deputy Chief of Joint Operations Lt. Gen. Abdul Amir Yarallah arrived on Monday in Kirkuk disputed province between Erbil and Baghdad.

 They were received at Kirkuk Civil Airport by the governor of Kirkuk, Rakan al - Jubouri, and the commander of the headquarters of the joint operations in Kirkuk, Lieutenant General Saad Harbiyeh, military and security leaders and leaders in the Popular Mobilization Forces.

The army chief of staff inspected the work site at Kirkuk civil airport, saying that "there has been great progress and development."

He added that "we will work to speed up its opening to serve all citizens of Kirkuk and this work is advanced and impressive."

Al-Ghanimi then went to a security meeting at the headquarters of the joint operations
