Shafaq News/ Baghdad provincial council voted on Monday to elect a new governor instead of resigning governor, Falah Algerian.

Shafaq News reporter said that the council voted to choose, Hamad Jaber al-Atta form State of law block as the new governor of Baghdad.

The reporter added that the council also elected Ali Ahmed al-Iethawi by a majority for the post of technical deputy to the governor of Baghdad.
