 Barzani said in a statement, reported for "Shafaq News", that ”Peshmarga forces and in order to protect the people of Kurdistan and the ethnic and religious components and keep public institutions went to the areas where there was a security vacuum after the events of Mosul and areas close to the border of Kurdistan because of the "collapse" of the Iraqi army and the displacement of a large number of the citizens of Nineveh and heading  towards safe areas controlled by Peshmarga forces.

He demanded Peshmraga forces and Asaish with extreme caution and keep  the borders of Kurdistan , the money and property of citizens in those areas and do not let any violations and cross-border.

Barzani assured citizens that Peshmarga forces and security institutions will not allow any form of threatening the stability to the security of Kurdistan.

The Iraqi security forces have withdrawn abruptly from large areas of Nineveh, Salahuddin and Kirkuk province after the attacks by elements of the so-called Islamic state in Iraq and the Levant "Daash."
