Shafaq News / Basra Governorate announced a one-week curfew as a precaution to prevent corona virus.
"The curfew was imposed in the governorate from this evening, until next Sunday morning," Governor Asaad Al-Eidani said in a statement reported to Shafaq News.
Al-Eidani excluded from the curfew decision, "health, municipal and security departments and vehicles for transporting food and critical cases."
The Crisis Cell in Iraq decided to impose a comprehensive curfew in Baghdad on Sunday from 11 p.m. of March 17 and until 11 p.m. on the 23rd of current month, with the suspension of official working hours.
The cell also decided to suspend flights for the period between 17 and 24 March, and the cell emphasized the suspension of movement between the provinces, while local administrations were given the authority to impose a curfew.
Corona virus infections increased throughout the Iraqi cities to 124, including 10 deaths and 26 recoveries, according to the latest statistic released by the Iraqi Ministry of Health.
