Shafaq News/ The Court of Inquiry on Integrity Issues affiliated to the Presidency of the Federal Appeal of Basra issued an arrest warrant against the former governor of Basra and other staff in the provincial bureau.

An official statement of the Information Center of the Supreme Judicial Council said that "the arrest warrant was issued in accordance with the provisions of article 340 of the Penal Code for violating the staff dispatch orders of Basra Provincial Court and training and development courses for 2014.

The statement added that "dispatched employees who are not affiliated to the office of the province outside Iraq were at the expense of Basra province and paying these funds caused a waste of public money.
