Shafaq News / The southern Iraqi province of Basra recorded, on Tuesday, a suspected case of corona virus infection.

According to the health department of the province, a 59-year-old woman died today, Tuesday, from chronic diseases as she was hospitalized after she showed symptoms of Corona virus.

She stated that the results of her tests had been sent to the capital, Baghdad, to confirm her infection.

Basra announced on the 9^th of current month, the first recorded death of an elderly man with "Corona" virus after coming from Iran.

While the Iraqi health announced on Monday, that it recorded 133 cases of corona virus, including Kurdistan Region - 37 cases - and the total number of cases of recovery reached 32, while 10 people died as a result of the virus.
