Shafaq News / Basra Province recorded on Wednesday, the lowest daily infections with Coruna virus, for the fourth consecutive days after being the highest provinces infected with the virus.

Basra Provincial Health Department said in a statement received by Shafaq News, that "the new positive cases for Wednesday were 6 infections,” explaining that” one case has recovered, while the province did not record any deaths."

The statement added that "the number of total positive cases increased to 287, (17 deaths + 130 recoveries + 140 under treatment)."

It should be noted that Iraq recorded on Tuesday 28 new cases of coronavirus and 53 recoveries, bringing the total to 1602, including 81 deaths and 1096 recoveries, according to the Ministry of Health.
