Watheq al- Battat , who spoke to Reuters briefed by “Shafaq News " , from a mobile phone said that “ one of the prison guards sympathized with him has provided by him with a phone despite being held without charges in solitary confinement and that his cell is small and cold , he was not allowed to contact his lawyer or his family .

Battat was detained in Baghdad in the second of January , six weeks after the launch of Mukhtar army led by him as they have launched six mortar mortars from southern Iraq to the Saudi desert without casualties .

He told Reuters News Agency that at the time that the attack was a warning to Saudi Arabia until it stops interfering in Iraq's affairs.

During the contact , conducted from his cell on Monday evening, Battat said that the Army led by him will begin in murdering members of the State of Law coalition led by al-Maliki, who are engaged in April elections if they didn’t release him .

He said that Mukhtar Army give them a deadline of 24 hours if he was not released as all the candidates of State of law coalition will be killed one after the other as will target their homes and their headquarters .

He also stated that the members of State of law coalition who participanted in the government are also on the targetedlist.

Iraqi officials couldn’t be reached immediately to comment.

Battat whose voice is known to Reuters said that he hides his identity from the Sunni insurgents detained in the same prison, who asked not to disclose his position.

"I'm not a terrorist " , he said , and I have no hostility between me and the state or its institutions , Battat explained that he will not target the police or the army.

He said that his goal is al-Qaeda and the " state of disbelievers " that export terrorism to neighboring countries , referring to Saudi Arabia. At times, the Sunni extremist opponents resorted to use the description of disbelievers in their talk about them because they disbelieve others including Shiites .

Battat has accused the Iraqi authorities of detaining him in order to achieve balanced after arresting Sunni MP, Ahmed al-Alwani in Ramadi city on Dec. 28 in a raid that killed al-Alwani’s brother and a number of bodyguards

While member of State of Law coalition , Adnan al-Shahmani said that these threats are not serious or important from the threat of Watheq al- Battat to kill leaders of the coalition if he was not released during 24 hours, stressing that the judiciary is independent and will not be subjected to any threats.
