Shafaq News / The British ambassador in Baghdad confirmed that his country is studying "all options" with the nature of the relationship with Iraq in the event of continued violence against the demonstrators.

"We are studying all options in relation to Iraq if violence against demonstrators continues, and we demand the army to protect peaceful protesters from some armed factions," the British ambassador told Al-Hadath TV.

He also added, "We support early and transparent elections in Iraq, and the formation of an Iraqi government free from external interference."

The British ambassador also called on Iran, "not to interfere in the Iraqi affairs."
