Shafaq News / The Iraqi politician Intifad Qanbar called on Thursday the Iraqi authorities to prevent traveling to and from Iran, after the spread of the new Corona virus in Qom city, south of the capital, Tehran and recording two deaths and several infections.
Qanbar told Shafaq News that "the Iraqi authorities are all required to prevent travel to and from Iran, especially after the decision of the Iraqi Ministry of Interior, to cancel the entry visa for Iranians wishing to enter Iraq for a period of three months, this constitutes a real risk because of the spread of the Corona virus in the country."
He stressed that "all Iraqi visitors in Iranian cities must be returned as soon as possible and to have them tested, to prevent the spread of the deadly Corona virus, as not dealing seriously by the Iraqi authorities with these measures will mean the spread of the virus in Iraq and for this, Iraqis also must beware of going to Iran at the present time.
