Shafaq News / Karbala Health Department announced on Saturday, the death of a 75-years old woman who suffered from Corona virus.

“The new death case, which the department recorded, was for a 75-year-old patient from al-Amil neighborhood as she was in a critical health condition and suffered from chronic diseases, the department statement, received by Shafaq News stated.

The Iraqi Ministry of Health and Environment announced on Sunday, the highest death toll from Corona virus since its outbreak in the country, recording 144 cases, 2 deaths and 92 recoveries.

The Ministry indicated that the total number of infections rose to 3404, while the total number of recoveries reached 2218, while people under treatment were 1063, and deaths reached 123.
