Shafaq News/ Hundreds of protesters gathered near the gate of the Iraqi parliament in the Green Zone, despite attempts by security forces to disperse them.

Previously, Deputy Speaker of Parliament ,Bashir Haddad, said he had ordered the protection regiment of the parliament to deal with civil protesters responsibly and protect them in accordance with the principles of human rights and if the demonstrations reached the building of the parliament not confronted by violence.

There were wounded after the protesters crossed from Tahrir Square to the gate of the Green Zone across al-Joumhoriya Bridge.
