Shafaq News / A security source said on Saturday that protesters blocked a main road in southern Iraq.

The source told Shafaq News that demonstrators in al- Bateha district in Dhi Qar province, blocked Nasiriyah - Samawa road in protest against the difficult economic conditions they are suffering.

It is noteworthy that the protesters in Safwan district of Basra province, continued on Saturday, their sit-in for the sixth day in a row, to demand the government to implement their requests.
