Shafaq News / Demonstrators blocked on Sunday a main intersection in Nasiriyah city, the center of Dhi Qar Governorate in an escalation of anti-government protests and ruling parties.

Anadolu Agency reporter said that demonstrators blocked al-Baho intersection by burning tires in the center of Nasiriyah.

The demonstrators have been deliberately blocking roads and closing government institutions since the demonstrators broke out in early October to pressure the authorities to respond to their demands.
