Shafaq News/ Demonstrators in the southern province of Maysan continued on Tuesday their sit-ins and protests by closing a number of government departments.

Activists told Shafaq News that the protesters entered the technical institute, shut it down as well as Maysan oil company.

Protesters shut down the office of al- Iraqiya state-run channel in Maysan province.

This comes in conjunction with the attempt of demonstrators at noon on Tuesday to shut down the official al-Iraqiya channel in Dhi Qar province, which is witnessing angry protests for more than a week.
