Shafaq News / An official security source reported on Friday the assassination of a parliamentary office director of Alliance Towards Reforms (Saairun) backed by Sadr leader Muqtada al-Sadr in Dhi Qar province in southern Iraq.

The official said that unidentified gunmen assassinated the director of the office of Alliance Towards Reforms, Gaaeb al- Amiri in Nasiriyah city.

Media sources said that 10 charred bodies were lifted from the headquarters of Badr building belonging to demonstrators as they were burned while burning the headquarters in Diwaniya.
