MP of Diyala Hawitona coalition , Nahida al-Daini told “Shafaq News " that “Diyala province is a disaster province in all sectors and should reconsider the gains that have been granted to other provinces especially Diyala, most notably installing staff of electricity contracts and localization in police , which is divided between the entities.

She called to grant Diyala, a key ministry to address files and the outstanding problems for several years in reconstruction and restoration field and return more than 13 000 policeman who were dismissed from their jobs and install the contracts of agriculture and literacy . departments

She added that the Sunni component won 7 seats in Diyala, 5 of them for Diyala coalition and two for the National coalition led by Iyad Allawi , noting to grant the province a sovereign Ministry to improve the reality of the province in several fields and sectors.

Diyala Hawitona coalition has topped the winning lists in Diyala by seven seats while State of Law coalition came the second by three seats while   the National coalition and Kurdish al-Salam coalition got two seats and one seat to Ahrar bloc and another for Mwaten bloc.
