Shafaq News / Faili Kurd Coordination Committee recalled the 40^th  anniversary of the genocide of this segment of society.

The Committee stated during a statement on the occasion, that it expresses its thanks to the Kurdish leader Masoud Barzani, and the President of Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani for remembering the genocide.

The Committee added, "On this painful occasion, with which we recall what happened to Kurdistan in Halbaja and Anfal that witnessed demolishing the villages of Kurdistan and the Barzani martyrs, we proudly appreciate your standing with the Faili Kurds as part of the Kurdish nation."

The Committee affirmed that the Faili Kurds will remain a shield for Kurdistan as described by Al-Barzani
