Shafaq News/ The Federal Court, the highest judicial authority in Iraq announced on Monday that it has received 10 appeals against the parliament’s decision to dissolve the provincial councils.

The spokesman of the Federal Supreme Court , Ayas al-Samouk said in a press statement today that “ The total of what was reported to the Federal Supreme Court so far is ten appeals against the decision of the parliament regarding the provincial councils.

He added that these appeals have been filed by multiple parties, are still in the stage of notifications and will be considered and sentenced in accordance with the Constitution.
