Al-Hardan told “Shafaq News " , that " the government's drive for a period of years has been directed to support tribal forces fighting Daash in Anbar, but was unable to prove it in the confrontation ."
He explained that " the Awakening forces received only very simple things related to equip some ammunition to units of the Iraqi army ," calling for the need to " support the elements of the Awakening and equipped them to fight Daash organization."
Most of the cities of Anbar province have witnessed fierce fighting between Iraqi army forces and the elements of what is known as " tribal military councils " and members of the organization " Daash ."
The security crisis in Anbar has erupted about four months ago after the Iraqi security detained a prominent Sunni MP and removed sit-in Square for Sunnis in Ramadi, allowing gunmen to re- deploy in its largest and most important strongholds .
