Shafaq News / Ali al-Bayati, a member of the High Commissioner for Human Rights in Iraq, criticized on Sunday an Iraqi plane landing from India, despite the decision to suspend flights.

Al-Bayati tweeted, "The Crisis Cell suspended all flights until March 24, 2020, but yesterday, an Iraqi Airways plane arriving from India with (209) Iraqis arrived, knowing that India has (332) Corona infections."

"If the government itself violates its decisions, then why do we blame the simple citizen?"

The Border Ports Authority announced on Saturday the arrival of an Iraqi Airways plane coming from the Indian capital, Delhi, with Iraqis traveling in that country.

The Iraqi Airways had sent the plane to evacuate those Iraqis who were stuck in India after closing the borders of countries and suspending flights due to fears of the spread of Corona virus.
