Shafaq News / Eyewitnesses said on Saturday, that Karrada area in the capital, Baghdad, is now witnessing an extensive security deployment.

Witnesses told Shafaq News that "most of the intersections in Karrada district, in the capital, Baghdad, are now witnessing intense security deployment, through elements dressed in civilian clothes."

They pointed out, "They closed all the sub-streets in Karrada district."

This comes after Saleh al-Iraqi, who is close to the leader of the Sadrist movement, announced a vague "goodbye" post, and a state of confusion prevailed among his supporters, as many interpretations were raised, including his post being considered a withdrawal order for the "blue hats" from the demonstrations.
