Shafaq News / Five Iraqi governorates witnessed demonstrations on Saturday, accusing protesters of political parties dominant of power of corruption and demanding their departure.

Witnesses in Dhi Qar Governorate said that the demonstrators continued to arrive at Al-Haboubi Square in the center of Nasiriyah while blocking al-Zayton bridge.

In Al-Diwaniyah, demonstrators flocked to al-Sahaa square, which is located in front of the local government building as a number of clan elders participated in support of the demonstration.

In Karbala, dozens of demonstrators were present at Al-Tarbeya Square, with calls to form committees of demonstrators to organize and protect the demonstrations in conjunction with the attacks on a number of demonstrators the day before yesterday, as they were stabbed with knives by unknown persons.

In Najaf, the demonstrators were present in Sadrin Square in the city center, with calm and security stability accompanied by the opening of all the streets and bridges of the province.

In Basra, in the far south of Iraq, dozens of citizens demonstrated in front of Majnoon oil field in the north of the province.
