Shafaq News/ The Commission of Integrity announced the issuance of an order against the former Chairman of the Investment Commission of Karbala and a number of former members of the Board of Investment, based on the provisions of Article (330) of the Iraqi Penal Code.

The Investigation Department of the Commission, the case was  investigated and referred to the judiciary, pointed out that an investigation court specialized in the Integrity cases in Karbala issued an order against the Chairman of Karbala Investment Commission and a number of former members of the Investment Board therein, based on the provisions of the article.

The agency said that the recruiting order issued by the court of inquiry specialized in the integrity cases in the province came on the basis of investigations by the Commission in the case of irregularities committed to grant special investment license for a hotel project of more than (28) million dollars.

It is noteworthy that the Commission had announced earlier this month, the issuance of sixty arrest warrants and summons orders against deputies and local officials on charges of corruption and damage to public money.
