This came during a meeting of the Coordination Council between the mission of His Eminence the Leader of the Islamic Revolution and the Organization of Hajj and Visitation and said "We have prepared protocols on dispatching visitors to the holy shrines in Iraq and Syria and presented them to resume mutual travel between Iran and these two countries in light of health and safety conditions and improved conditions resulting from the outbreak of Corona virus. "

It is noteworthy that the Iranian visitors to the holy shrines in Iraq and Syria have been suspended for about two months due to the spread of Corona virus.

On the other hand, Rashidian pointed out that the Iranian delegation dispatched to Saudi Arabia to discuss with its officials the upcoming pilgrimage season returned to Tehran on Sunday and said that this delegation stayed in Saudi Arabia for several weeks because it was unable to return due to canceling flights due to Corona virus.

On the measures taken to provide the hard currency needed for the next pilgrimage season, he said, although the conditions for establishing the next pilgrimage season are not fully known, however, planning is under way at the present time and we hope that the necessary measures will be provided for the pilgrimage as Corona virus shrinks.

For his part, the assistant head of the Hajj and Visitation Organization, Akbar Rezaei, presented a report on the registration process for the upcoming Hajj season, pointing out that the registration process reached 67 percent of the capacity of the conveys for the next season, announcing the priorities for registration to fill the void for the rest of the pilgrims.
